Widest possible rear size on e93 335i?
What is the absolute widest rear tire I can get on my 335i e93 and on what 19" rim and offset? I have 19x9.5 with 275/30-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on rear now but would like more and I saw an e92 with 295/35-18 fitting. Hoping to upgrade to 295/30-19 rear and 245/35-19 front.
Thx.

Standard 335i e93. I need as much rubber as possible to hold the power I'm adding. I'm not against rolling the fenders. I'm also concerned I have 9.5 wide rims and the tires recommend 10-11inch if I go 295. Finally I was planning on lowering it 1/2"-1" more than stock sport suspension. Tires would raise the ride height 1/4". So net lower less than an inch in the rear, probably halff inch more lower in front than rear. This would be about 1/4" lower rear, 3/4" front. Hmmmmm

It can be done with a 10.5 or 11" wheel with a high offset. I'm not sure exactly how much room you have on the strut side but et40 or a little higher should work. You want it as close to the inside as possible.
I have 11" et28 with 275/30/19, fenders rolled and shaved near the bumper, -1.9 degrees camber. Here is what 11"et40 295/30/19 should look compared to that. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...et2=40#content Last edited by bmw325i; 04-06-2015 at 09:34 PM.. |

ROBC1976 has been running 305's for a long time and I think he was going with 315's. There is plenty of room if you have the right offset.
I'm running: Apex EC-7 wheels and PSS tires: 245/40-18 x 9 et 31 285/35-18 x 10 et 43 When my tires are due to be replaced, I am planning on going with 255/295. Since your car is a pre-lci, you should have another 8mm to play with than me. At your power level, I would go with the 305's. You should be able to fit them in with just a standard fender roll. |

Just enough to fit. When I got my wheels I was going for flush with as little stretch as possible for a tight fit. Now I want more stretch and poke but I'm going to wait until I need new tires.
I posted some pictures here. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=996697&page=3 |

Ok. Restating the parameters, 335i e93 vert with kwv2 coilovers, sport suspension, probably lowering front about 1/2", im trying to get biggest tires without rubbing. I'm willing to roll fenders if needed.
Shopping for wheels it's hard to find something affordable and that fits. I see TSW has wheels in 19x10.5 with 27mm offset for the rear. Looking at the Monaco in brushed silver with chrome lip. Fit this with 305/30-19 michelin pilot super sports would this be possible? Outer diameter is 26.3". If not 295/30-19? Outer diameter 26". In the front the rim could be either 19x8.5 with 35 mm offset or 19x9 with 15 mm offset. Front tires could be 255/35-19 outer diameter 26" or 245/35-19 with outer diameter 25.8". Again looking for widest possible rubber and wheel. Thx for your input. http://www.getyourwheels.com/view-wh...and-chrome-lip

Thx. Just hard to find wheels that I like, that have the right size and offset, and are in the budget.

I already have the stickiest available that you can drive reasonably on a daily basis. And with approximately 625-650 rwhp and rwtq the extra rubber will be welcomed

Some good options here.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=935601 9.5 et30 and 10.5et40 would be a good choice. You might need front camberplates depending on how wide you want to go on the front. 245/35/19 should fit without camberplates. |
