DELIVERED: Donington Grey F85 X5M (NJ)

My X5M finally arrived at the dealership yesterday. I took delivery today. I have to say I am in love with the Donington Grey color...it's spectacular! The seats are amazingly comfortable. There is so much technology in this car, I will be reading the manual for days! For those who are wondering, there is a 1200 mile break-in service.

They made a mistake when building my car and put the 20" wheels on instead of the 21". The 21s have already been ordered and should be here soon. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports already arrived. I'll have the dealer swap them out as soon as the wheels arrive.

Congrats! I too took delivery today (plus put about 300 miles on it driving down the 101 south from Seattle). Isn't DG a fantastic color? One of the most dynamic and rich satiny colors I've ever seen. And the depth of CF interior is amazing...

Now that you've seen the red interior in person, would you order the same combination if you were placing a new order now?

Sorry for the silly question. Just curious how do you describe the color, does it have any resemblance to cashmere silver, hard to tell from the pics. It is a beautiful color. Thank you...

I don't think I have ever seen cashmere silver in person to tell you the truth. David has I'm sure. I don't get to the dealership but a few times here and there every couple of months. I think the color is closer the Space Grey IMO then any other color I can think of that Ive seen in person. Im sure someone who has seen cashmere silver can answer the question a little better then mine. Def a color you have to see in person to get a sense of how good it really looks
