Knowledge required from BMW geniuses!

Finally came time to install the M Performance Front Splitter on my M235i.
Unfortunately the guide that comes from BMW isn't too clear.
Can anyone give me some tips on the install?

Is it just as simple as slipping it on and screwing it in?
Do the "fangs" have to be glued or can they just stay on without any sort of adhesive?
If they do need to be glued, can double sided tape work?

I had mine done by the dealership. I was told they used some sort of glue/adhesive. Then it had to sit for a day or two inside for the glue to set properly....

I used 3m double sided tape
