What happens after 120 km/h?

The e-mode goes up to 120 km/h. What happens after 120 km/h? Does the car become RWD? No boost in sport mode? Just curious about this as it would mean that the car would lose most of it power after 120 km/h...

It switches to all wheel drive, with both electric and combustion. Remember, in E mode you only have a fraction of the i8's total power.

Did you test this, because there is a risk the 2 gears of the electric motor go only up to 120 km/h? I am hoping it will be awd,but fear it is rwd only...Like the ferrari FF. I am hoping that it just means that the electric motor is not working at its optimum and the gas engine kicksin to help.

According to this vid boost seems to be active all the way indicating emotor is active up to top speed=awd?

The second gear goes up to 250km/h where the E-motor is spinning at max RPM I was told by the BMW i head engineer.
