Somewhat. You will have to have your car tuned specifically for your mods to maximize HP. With upgraded IC, DPs, catback, v2, race gas, and MSDS Stage 2 intake, down4it I think dyno'd 370whp?

Shiv should be releasing a map sometime in the near future to optimize DP power. With v2 and DPs and CAI you should push 400whp if Shiv gets the map out for catless DPs.
EDIT: This being on race gas, of course. No official #s are out for the catless map.

sorry.. still learning about all of this.. seems you lose a bit of power with each upgrade overall? you said he had dynoed 370 rwhp with everything.. yet I am "calculating" (I guess) that it should be within the range of 400-410..?? I'm just trying to calculate and probably give others a bit of what you can expect.. It is hard trying to read all the dyno numbers and the "increases" you make from different mods..

Exactly.

I'm going with catted DP's, secondary cat delete, LSD, Intercooler. Maybe an Air intake depending on quality.

What is LSD? Is that another good upgrade to get? I have seen people mention that before..

Before : 265-275 hp (270)
Before : 275-285 tq (280)

After Vishnu Stage 1 : 355-360 hp (357)
After Vishnu Stage 1 : 370-375 tq (372)

After extra 3 mods : 400 - 410 hp (405)
After extra 3 mods : 415 - 425 tq (420)

maybe I shouldn't go by the 'max' numbers.. or more by a percentage...

Before : 100% / 100%
After Vishnu Stage 1 : 132.2% / 132.8% (33% increase for $3,000)
After extra 3 mods : 150% / 150% (17% increase for $3,000)

so a total of $6,000 for an increase of 50% (150rwhp)... so $40 / rwhp

Limited Slip Differential. Helps put more power to the ground since all our power is currently being put to one rear wheel (not both like you would think.)

btw, LSD is a very important mod, because with any substantial increase in power, the 335i has WAY too much for the stock tires, and even for some of the aftermarket ones. Notice I said SUBSTANTIAL increase in power. LSD goes a long way toward correcting that.

If you are looking for quite a bit of additional torque, then you will have difficulty with traction in 1st and 2nd gears without better tires and LSD.

for the downpipes.. since I am going to get the Vishnu Stage 1 Catback Exhaust.. I can only get the Catted Downpipes, right? These are the only ones I can find :

http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...F-Cat-DP.shtml

are they the only ones I can use? Thanks

Yes i did dyno 370whp and 441wtq (SAE Corrected) but this is because the map i was using on the Procede V2 was not made for the mods i have and the ECU is trying to correct and it was causing boost spikes and just throwing the boost all over the place. Also i was at 94% on 93 octane... Shiv got 390whp and 390wtq on 91 octane with the new map with DP's... Next time i get on the Dyno i will have 100oct on 96-100% settings just to see what is the max HP we can get out fo these cars on V2... I expect to be closer to 420whp and 430wtq... Would be a very fast and balanced car IMO... Im waiting patiently for the new maps...

Why don't you drive to him and have him custom map it, you're not that far away are you.

you really cant just add all the dynos together and just add them together. with increasing mods you need the accompanying tune for optimal power.

Im around a 6 hour drive from Vishnu and it could be done but he had told me to wait for the new map first and then go from there, im sure a custom tune will yeild the most power from my car, i think it would be pointless cause then say when a map with launch control is released my custom map would be outdated. I will hold off for now on the custom map since the only engine mod difference between Shivs car and mine is the FMIC...

I believe that it is a quaife LSD that is available. For early '07s, the removal is easy, and the cost for the LSD is about $1800 plus installation (I may be off by a few $$). For the later '07s and '08s the differential is welded, so removal and replacement is much more difficult. As a result, it will cost more. I believe, about $3500 (probably includes installation).

If you do a search, you will find the exact details. It's costly.

so with Vishnu stage 1 (procede + exhaust) + Downpipes (http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...F-Cat-DP.shtml) I should be making 390 rwhp / 390 tq (max, I know, hehe) just using 91 octane?? I hope he will have some good updated maps for me this weekend... hopefully get the new version 2.1?

Waiting patiently is not the workd for it. I just wanna see 400whp on the dyno already. With v2, dps, ic, cai, exhaust, my car feels like it has the power just gets confused not knowing when to release it. I get scared sometimes i see a spike to 17psi out of nowhere. All i need is this new map for dps and ic...and some sawy bars and im done....didnt shiv say this week sometime??

I just got the MSDS Stage 2 (and Stage 1) Air Intake kit.. is that recommended to get? Although it is kind of late, I do hear some good things about it.. but really haven't seen a dyno before and after stage 2.. there is one dyno for stage 1 (about 12 rwhp??).. but I'm guessing from stock to stage 2 would probably be 20-25 rwhp??
