I have a friend who sorely wants an E46 M3. However, there are strict requirements for it.

Must:
- Be gray, black, white, Laguna Seca or dark blue (no other colors whatsoever, sorry)
- Have 60,000 or fewer miles
- No Rust
- No damage
- No accidents
- No SMG
- No sunroof
- Manual everything (seats, transmission)
- Cloth seats are preferable
- Competition Package preferable

He wants an absolute cherry. I know these requirements are not exactly realistic, but he's patient and willing to wait for the right car.

But as for that 2003, the seats are power, my friend demands manual... I know, he's nuts, but it's what he has to have. I told him to just buy a slicktop and put Pole Positions in (his favorite seats), but I don't know, he can be unreasonable...

As for that 2006 Competition Package, I'll give him a call. That price is a tad steep, so I'm not sure how much he'd be willing to come down for a college kid (and my friend's not broke, but he doesn't have $39k burning a hole in his pocket either––and let's be honest, who does?).

CCA prices tend to be high, but they also tend to be great cars. That '06 Comp. package slicktop 6mt with low miles is about as good as the E46 gets. $39k is high, but it's not going to go for the high 20's either. $39k will get you an '08 E90/E92 with 45-60k miles or this, a last year RARE E46.
