CIC Software Update puts Media song advance back on the steering wheel
Had my car in for service a couple of months ago, and noticed almost immediately that there was now an indicator in the extended contents screen that indicates the status of Steering Wheel heat when the button is pressed. The indicator on the button itself can only be seen when NOT driving. A small, but useful feature.
Today, much to my surprise, I noticed that pushing the wheel in on the audio side of the steering wheel advanced my iPhone by one song. Even better, when my iPhone was in shuffle mode, the button press moved to the next random song. Even better, it shows up in the HUD. I was bummed when the < and > buttons were removed from the steering wheel and glad to see this functionality return. Does anyone in this esteemed group have access to a software change log, or do I have to find this stuff the hard way?
