Roads in Boston

I will be moving to Boston from NJ in couple months, and wondering about the road conditions in New England. I will be driving quite a lot (~60miles/day) and hoping the roads aren't as bad as in NJ (would be impossible).

Thanks,

BK

In the city or outside? The roads aren't great but it really depends where your living and traveling. At least you are missing the winter. They got slammed this year.

Its all junk. Inner city, burbs, country roads, theres no reprieve. hoping to find some 18s and meaty rubber to cope with it.

after this winter the roads are crap everywhere i live in the suburbs and the roads are destroyed and the city is even worse. They basically need to redo every single road at this point.

Where are you moving to in Boston?

If you drive down to Rhode Island, the roads are worse than Afghanistan.... No joke...

There are large sections of rt30 that are enjoyable and have few enough holes to remember them all.

No passing, though, for miles. You are behind a dork you are all d0rked out.

What roads?

I went south to NYC/NJ from Boston, and have to tell you, except for the interstate highways, Boston road surface was imported from Beirut.
Way back in the 80s. After they were exported to Beirut from NJ.

I bent wheels in NJ.
I cracked them wide open with instant air loss in Boston.

Nice people though, except those with space savers ...

Enjoy,
a

Give the guy a break He has already changed his mind.

Nothing in Boston per se but New Hampshire has really nice and scenic roads (within an hour drive from Boston)

Welcome
