hey guys, iam pulling the trigger on a 8.8 inch screen, nav cic and idrive controller, after I remove the stock pieces from my car, will this be a plug and play set up and then get it coded, or is there a bunch of wiring to be done

You need the combox with the CIC if you want enhanced bluetooth/office functions.
I personally would go for the NBT as the combox is built in. Depending on your current spec, the wiring could be really easy (esp if your coming from base spec no combox etc) to be harder if you have the combox, requires re-wiring or you buy replacement cables running directly to the ProNav. |

just so you know this is CIC not NBT.
this will not have bluetooth streaming if you do not have a combox. IMO if youre going to retrofit a navigation unit go for NBT instead. its a few 100$ difference but much easier retrofit and better features |
