erratic performance
I have been using my F80 M3 as my DD for last couple months and put on 4000 or so miles. I have been noticing some inconsistencies in the way it drives. Those are not measurable/objective differences as I'm not logging any data but more of what I perceive. Perhaps it's just how high strung turbo engines behave. There are days when the motor feels and sound more labored, and the gear change (esp. 1 to 2) feels jerky. Then there are days when the engine is creamy smooth and the gear changes are butter smooth. It drives me a little crazy as I don't know which to expect on daily basis. I've never had more love/hate relationship with any other cars. I don't regard myself tech- minded, so would appreciate any insight to what might be happening. Thanks
