Wheel Hanger

BMW uses wheel lug bolts instead of lugs, so there's no easy way to hang a wheel on the hub when installing it. PITA!

My last track car, an 07 Porsche GT3, had a piece of rod in the tool kit which could be threaded into the hub to hang the wheel on while you installed four of the five lug bolts.

Anyone know where one of these can be found for an M235i (or know what it's really called)?

I bought three of these and they are great. Three is overkill but I wanted to be ensure no damage to my CCBs when mounting and dismounting. Highly recommend.

This is definitely a nice little thing to have. The wheel will sort of stay in place on the lip of the hub, but yes its a huge pain in the BACK to have to hold the wheel in place while getting the lug threaded. I'll have to pick one up, thanks OP.

BMW's used to come with these pins. My 93 and 99 had them in the tool kit.
