I was promised the first i8 delivered in California but was told it was a Pure Impulse World. (The "worlds." What dreadful names.)
When I learned it added $10,000+ for a color interior I didn't want, some stitching on the headrests and an i8 badge on the door jam, I passed. I got maybe the 50th delivered in California. (It arrived October 31 but I had to wait another two weeks while BMW sorted out whatever it was that it sorted out.) I think $10,000 for 2 months was a decent trade off. I don't think Pure Impulse is worth the price.

Same here, purchased end of December with PI and nothing so far no card or event or anything. This whole i8 purchasing planning and delivery process has been a joke. Thank god I have an awesome sales rep at my local dealer that worked it for me.
