a low v2 number?

91 octane, 92% setting, bmc filter
same set up, diff dyno, diff day, same power but diff torque
1st chart was done at sp engineering
2nd chart was done at md automotive
Shiv, i just did this at Mark's place. Jay called you guys but i dont know if he talked to you or Dustin. Why is my boost so high? Mark checked the boost and he said it's consistently at 13s. Could it be boost spike? I watched my gauge and it never swept pass 15. So unfortunate I could not do data logging. Brought my laptop and all but could not go online, forgot to check if the serial to usb connection is loose. I also did my baseline

I have the drf files if you need to to send it so you can take a look.

Again, it's the BMC filter.
Get your friends K&N in there.

That would not scare me at all. However, I would confirm the numbers with a log from the PROcede and possibly adjust the UT values accordingly to bring it down in the 3500 - 4000 RPM range.

i dont think this is the first post with low numbers from sp engineering, not sure if that is the issue though. are those two different dynos or is it just being displayed in a different format? 315 would be low hp for v2 at 15-16psi for sure, looks like the peak boost came early and you are in line by 5-6k rpms...

That first plot looks funky but the 2nd and 3rd plots look fine and not representative of what you saw on the dyno.

Boost is always going to be a bit higher on the dyno than it is when datalogging on the road due to intake temp differences. On the dyno, intake temp is higher. So boost will go higher as well to compensate for density reduction. But, for some reason, your are running a bit more boost in the 3700-4000rpm than normal. One option is to drop user TQ back to the default setting of 90%. This, however, will drop peak power as well. Another option is to drop User TQ in just this narrow RPM range by 2%. Leave user tq values above that unchanged. You can even bump up user tq values above 5000rpm a couple of percent which will improve peak power.

We've not recommended RPM-specific user TQ tweaks simply to keep things easy. Especially for those who aren't familiar with conducting and reviewing datalog files. But there is no reason why you can't do his in order to smoothen our your boost curve. Just don't get to carried away with things. Don't let boost go above 14.5-15psi anywhere. And don't try to eliminate top end boost taper completely. It will always be there and is a function of turbo capacity.

you're saying I can run 94% on 91 octane above 5k rpm?

Is it only me saying all these logged boost curves look weird ? Do you use the same UT settings across the board ?
