Availability of CCBs on the new X5M

Anyone heard of any news regarding the availability of CCBs on the new X5Ms? Can't find anything.

They're not available. You'll need to look to aftermarket vendors if you want them.

They are not available. I've contacted Surface Transforms and SICOM Evo Brakes and both companies are interested in doing a CCB for X5/X6 M.
Surface Transforms is a UK company which makes the Koenigsegg One:1 brakes, and also all the ceramic rotors for Mov'IT. But they do not offer caliper in the kit, only carriers, rotors, pads, lines.
SICOM offers also calipers.

I've decided that i will go with Surface Transforms, they are waiting for my car to arrive, and me to send them a rotor from front and one from rear in order to start manufacturing my kit. They are already making a ceramic kit for the M5 F10 and although the X5/6M looks like it has identical brakes with the F10, it's better to wait a little bit rather than regret it later

I see. In BMW-fashion, I'd expect them to release a "special" or track-inspired version with CCBs for 10% markup premium about a year and half after launch.

My prediction - 22" inch wheels with BMW M performance external and internal parts and of course, CCBs with select frozen colours.
