M Performance Rear Diffuser Question

Just ordered M235i x-drive in Alpine White. Looking at the M Performance Rear Diffuser as an option for port install. I see a cost of $500 listed in a brochure. Does this sound right? Also, does this cost include painting as well?

This diffuser appears to stick out a little further than the standard black diffuser. Will it still work with the stock exhaust or are new tips or an adapter required? I see a Exhaust Pipe Finisher Adapter listed for $70. Does this extend the tips further out than the standard exhaust?

Also any thoughts if they like the look after seeing it in person? Looks nice in the brochure and in a couple photos I have found.

The Performance Diffuser's come un-painted. Some paint them, some leave them as-is. I have a thread about painting them; There you can see examples of what some people do.

It does stick out a little further, and new exhaust finisher tips are required for it to be flush with the new diffuser.

I personally don't like the stock diffuser, that's why I sprung for the performance one.

Exhaust tips

I need to switch out my exhaust tips with my new M Performance rear diffuser.

Is there a tip much like the stock M235 tip only longer?

If you like the stock tips you can re-use them. Many have done this and I will as well. Just buy the adapter kit to push them further out. There is some info in another thread.
