Speedometer Question

So i recently got a 2015 435i 6mt Msport and i noticed the bottom left lcd screen on the speedometer has no use!. My question is, is there use for that screen? Any way it can be made into a boost gauge?

This is the screen I am referring to;

No, you can't it just stays blank unless you have an m then it just shows the m logo

There is not physical screen underneath the film

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I'm curious how you have speedo that shows only kph on a US car.

I believe you can change this in your menu. I think it's under display or something like that. I'm at work and can't get to my car now.
