JB4 questions

Do the sub connectors actually clip to the jb4 harness or are the pins sliding in the only thing that holds it together if thats the case that concerns me I don't want any connectors getting loose and causing problems

Also it is hot here and we only have 91 octane I think I am going to upgrade the intercooler regardless my car has an oil cooler as well what tune would be recommended Map 1 or Map 5 not planning on down pipes for now

They slide on, they dont really pop off.. the dme box is cooled or heated via hvac, intercooler mades no dif, in dme box temp, map 1 or map 5 would be fine for a stock car

As pointed out the harnesses just slip in. We've never seen any one come loose so I wouldn't worry. I have seen some installs where the shops taped the harnesses together, so if you are really concerned you can do that, but like I said its completely not necessary.

Map5 would be best suited I would think.

Try both and decide which one you like better.
I personally prefer map 5 over map 1

I think the comment about it being hot and him possibly getting an intercooler was just a side note and asking which map to run with his set up... I don't think he was referring to an intercooler effecting the temperature inside the dme box.

I agree I don't think they would really come disconnected as long as everything was connected correctly in the first place.
