so i need to smog my car and i do not want to swap out the Dp's . i have the jb4 hooked up so the check engine light stays out but the car needs to pass the readyness test for the monitors status will the down pipe fix do that or am i understanding something wrong ? i alwayes thought the DP fix was the same thing as the feature that is built into the JB4 . Let me know !!!

The jb4 just clears the dp cel, youl need a dp fix or x kitty or somthing like that to pass readiness via obd

I don't think your passing in cali without putting the cats back on but the dp fix tricks the ecu into thinking the rear o2 are getting the right signal the jb4 just wont let the check engine light turn on thats why the ecu wont show readiness because it just keeps clearing the code
