IND | 3D Design F80 M3 & F82 M4 Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Set

3D Design might be a new name to some in North America, but the Japanese manufacturer has been producing high quality comprehensive vehicle programs for nearly 2 decades. Starting with suspensions in the mid-90's, 3D Design has grown their brand to include aero pieces, wheels, suspension, exhaust, interior solutions and even lifestyle accessories.

The F8X M3/M4 program is pre-preg autoclave manufacturing. The result is a higher quality than vacuum-infusion. Through the introduction of a much higher pressure on the product, an autoclave will create more precise and crisper lines than vacuum-infusion. Also, combining pre-preg material with this production method will yield consistent weave and a very strong end product. The program consists of a front lip, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler, and side skirt set.

The 3D Design side skirt is 100% pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber. The side skirts are designed to flow with the factory F8X rocker panels. With a subtle curve, the side skirts do an excellent job of making the F8X rocker appear even more menacing.

Hey guys, just had a set of these installed. have you guys had any slight fitment issues with these? the pre-applied adhesive shows in places on mine..

There are no issues that we have experienced or heard of. The adhesive should not be showing whatsoever.

It appears to us that your installer used a thicker tape than what is provided with the 3D kit. Most varieties of foam adhesive tape will not work.

You can see how thin the tape we use is here:

I do believe they used what came with the 3D kit, but i will double check with them. I think maybe it is being stretched from both surfaces so it looks like it is "foaming".
