Looks great - I particularly like #3 and #5. I'd like to take up the offer but distance is a problem ... Would you care to share your technique and set up at some point?

I would be interested. Anything to get a better picture than the phone camera can squeeze out!

Sure JJH
Shutter speed 5-20 sec depends on ambient lighting, ISO as low as possible, use bat wing to light up area where you want to highlight... tricky bit is getting camera to focus under dark conditions.... when do right produces pics you just cant get under daylight or flash
You could use Manual mode and set the exposure yourself. If it's dark, use a diffused light to get the focal point and lock it in so the focus doesn't change. Use a remote to trigger the shutter with a long (bulb) exposure. You could probably able achieve similar results without a bat wing but the lighting will be different.

Good hints Socket and 135. A decent tripod is also a must. I have experimented with using the self timer to avoid camera shake but now have a remote. I will have to play with a suitable light source - that will be the challenge.

Looking forward to seeing the results of the shoot!

Great pics socket, but I'm not that chummy with Batman so can you explain to me what a bat wing is?!

So when the shutter goes off for 10-20 seconds, you run around the car like a lunatic waving a bat wing around to light it up, correct?
