F82 at Autoclub Speedway

Unfortunately my camera was being picky today so I didn't get anything, but here is some data as it is more useful to me anyway. I'm including the layout as Speedventures calls the corners, 21 of them in fact. I was being fairly careful on the banking, especially at the entry but there the car can do more.

The top car here is a spec miata and is the black line around the track, travels roughly 11 feet longer which is extremely surprising to me.. the turn 12-21 area is slightly variable on this track so I would have to imagine it was in there.

The red line is the M4, pagid rs29's and hoosier r6's on 19's. Engine in sport plus gives the car more response feel, but the lap time doesn't seem to change. Sport plus suspension was required although I would have loved to do the 12-21 section in comfort as it is quite bumpy. I am still looking forward to getting some RDSport sway bars in the near future.

The left friction circle is a spec miata on ra1's from a couple years ago, the right friction circle is the M4 (again the red dot)

Lessons learned here? The R6's peak 1.57g in the banking, and about 1.32g in other corners going into the more detailed data and now the car finally carries more cornering and braking force than a spec miata, joy!!

The M4 spends nearly twice as long per lap on the brakes, and travels 32mph faster on the main straight at 145, I believe I saw 152 on one lap though.

Over all of the laps, I found about 1.5 seconds left on the table that I will be going after next time.

Nice charts. The spec Miata G-G looks cleaner, still getting used to the M4 I suspect, easier to build the level of confidence in the Miata

Great info! Thanks for this. We're the R6's on the OEM 19s?

1:50's with some spikes plus or minus, not as consistent as I would like to be.

yep on the black 19's, 265 and 295's. The wheel is a touch on the side of being narrow for sure.
