Current total contribution on an M5

Anyone know what total discount you can get on the current M5.

Its around £9k on the website but wondering how much extra the dealer can contribute.

I'd say another £3.5-4k on that should be possible. On a stock car there maybe more. All depends how far the dealer is prepared to go to get a deal.

Drop an email to Riaz, I was in London on Thursday and on the way back I couldn't resist popping in to his dealership unannounced as it's just of the M1 and I'm glad I did he's just a very nice guy indeed it was a real pleasure meeting him. Not the usual pushy salesman he was extremely helpful explained everything I wanted to know and more. Highly recommend him.

Second that, he got back to me with good prices for the 4 Series pretty quickly.

Daz not sure if it help but the guy I work with that has the M5 paid something in the region of the following.

£1700 deposit in
0% Apr (that deal was on at the time)
8k miles per annum
Monthlies were around £615

That was through BMW Strastone in Chesterfield. Sales guy was called Andy I can you send you his details if you want?

Thats a good price buddy. The 0% deal is on the M5 at the moment. Shows it on the BMW website. Yeah pop me his details when you get time mate. Hopefully Riaz can do something similar.

I have to say it's absolutely phenomenal!

Even taking it easy the rate of acceleration is like nothing else. Saying that you can also quite easily take it easy and drive along in comfort. A true hooligan in a Savile Row suit.

I absolutely love it

You don't buy an M5 then concern yourself with trivialities such as MPG

Indeed. I was lookin at the V8 mustang quoted mpg figure. 20mpg.

That means you'll be lucky to get 15mpg in the real world. Thirsty beast.

Currently sitting at about 22mpg.

Better than expected although I've only just started venturing into Sport Plus

Yes and with the silky smooth engine to go with it

With such efficient engines as these modern petrol ones I don't know why people even worry about mpg

It is genuinely better than I expected. I'd hoped 20 was going to be close but was prepared for worse.

Given a long drive on a warm day it would probably even be better. Trouble is the temptation to push on negates any gain that may be even remotely possible.
