Style 230 Wheels

Has anyone been able to successfully add style 230 wheels ($1000 option) on their 335i with sport package in the United States? These were previously listed as "delayed availability" on BMWNA's web site, but don't show up any more.

I am picking up in Feb, and wasn't able to add it.
CA said it's still unavaliable.

They didn't offer it at all in the US for the '07 models. And now they have it up on their site they still cant get it to the US customers... their biggest market might I add.

WTF, is their a wheel shortage or something?

Many of the '07 owners were buying the 230 wheels from Circle BMW and using their stock wheels for winter setup or selling them.

Yeah, I saw a Canadian '08, delivered in 11/07 with the 230's. It is baffeling why a select few dealers can get them for sale and our Canuck friends can get them but production for US orders can't.

Very common option in Australia. I've seen them on the road and in dealer stock cars. Very nice wheel.

is this still a problem for anyone? I ordered mine with 230 wheels and I hope this isn't going to cause a delay.

I ordered last week and could not add the 230 wheels... The BMW rep said there was a shortage and they had no estimated date when they would be available for purchase.

Mine just completed production and there were no delays with the 230's. I'm actually a little ahead of schedule.

I took delivery of mine almost a month ago (feb production) and no issues. might be a short term issue now...if ur still having problems, i would recommend waiting or delaying the order...230s are worth every penny.
