New VTT inlets!
Came home to a nicely packaged box wrapped in VTT tape.
Wonder what could be inside!? First impression, I was amazed at how small they are. You don't realize how much of a short distance it actually is from the filter to the turbo inlet! I was also worried that fitment might have been off for the larger inlet on the 2+ but it actually fits very well. Inside you get; 1x front intake tube 1x rear intake tube 1x 12" ¾ silicone hose for PCV (mine did not have this piece) 2x hose clamps And for those that ordered with optional DCI; 2 filters 2 aluminum adapters -Also includes a small packet with pictures of the items and tips for installation. Overall the quality looks nice, test fitting on the turbo inlets was a perfect fit. Very excited to get these turbos in (hopefully next weekend) and get my flash tune from Wedge! I will start a new thread to track progress and get some baselines when the time gets closer! UPDATE Turbos and Inlets are IN! Just put in this afternoon. Pics below. Looks tight, and it is, but fits perfectly! Front turbo Rear turbo Rear with inlet attached

I am 99.9% sure the clamps go on the turbo side because it is assumed you already have old worm clamps from your old DCI or intake setup. Best of luck and hope your able to post numbers in the future whenever you get them. Enjoy in good health!

Thanks for sharing these pictures, we're looking forward to seeing the results!
BTW just to confirm the clamps are for the turbo side of the tubes and fitting airbox/filter side is left up to the individual user as each application will vary. |

They don't. You can plumb the dv lines back into the air filters or obtain a different charge pipe that puts the bov/bpv upstream of where you're injecting meth. The CP-e/tial bov combo does this.

It's just a matter of time before Mishimoto or someone makes reps. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
VTT, you do not think by pricing them a little more aggresively, you would get more sales? Would you rather make a few more bucks and appeal to just a small percentage of customers, or charge a little less but appeal to a more broad customer base and make more sales that could potentially continue to be future customers and grow your customer base? Just food for thought. I wouldn't expect a company to charge more than a few hundred bucks for these, not $250+ a piece. What do these cost to make anyways? $20 a piece? It can't be too much... |

People keep saying this, and I keep asking how, and haven't gotten an explanation yet. Forgive my ignorance, but I don't have a DCI, so I don't know if there is a spot to connect the dv lines to them, or if you would have to fab something up. If there is a way to do it without custom fab, then I'm all over buying a DCI.

I mean more power to them for sure. Supply and demand and if the demand is there and you can get the price, sure. But, I think there is more prospective buyers at a lower price. They may just be sold out because of low stock...

Exactly! The only reason those sold out so fast was because there were only 20 in stock to begin with, I checked the website when they were first published to verify. I'm all about getting more power and I back VTT up all day, but I honestly can't justify the price tag especially when I could buy the same pipe at Home Depot, without a brand symbol, much cheaper. I wonder, if I were to buy the Home Depot pipe and send them in could they do the bends for me? lol
