Depends what colour you got...

I just took delivery on my M235i in Alpine white, and I'm getting black kidney grilles, M performance pedals, front splitter and rear spoiler. I decided on these before receiving the car, after receiving the car, I'm going to get CF mirrors and M performance interior trim as well.

I got the M performance pedals and M performance carbon mirror caps.

The M performance exhaust does not increase your horsepower or your MPG. It is just a muffler replacement. I couldn't tell the difference with the windows up. With the windows down it has a throatier sound especially at startup.

I got wheels from APEX from their group buy that just ended. They look great and are light/reasonably priced, but I'll see how I like them when they get bolted on tomorrow. They don't make "chrome" wheels, but they do make a very bright silver called "Hyper Silver" which might interest you.

I also have the MP Exhaust set to be installed tomorrow. Most axel-back exhausts (muffler) don't add horsepower or MPG. I think Dinan claims that theirs adds 6 HP, but I'm skeptical, and in any event, you will never notice 6 HP in a car that puts 300+ to the wheels. Apparently it sounds really good though. I've heard good things.

Lol! do we bite on this board more than any other?

I'll preface this with I barely have 1200 miles on my 235..I do have the MP exhaust and love it...Adds some decibels no doubt but it's a nice tone and does not drone imo.

For me? A worthwhile investment.

Depends, are you going for show or go? I find most of us fit primarily into one or the other. Finding a balance is harder.

For track/go upgrades, the typical rule for priority of upgrades is: Stop, Turn, Go (meaning brakes, then suspension, then power). However, it sounds like the priority is more towards appearance/sound.

I think the CF gear is very nice and sets it apart. RW Carbon makes real CF much cheaper than the MP gear and looks very good. However, if you have a black car, it will be less noticeable at a distance and the wheels will pop more. I'm not a fan of chrome on BMWs, but there are a number of manufacturers with alloys that will fit. It should fix the stance as well. Springs may be called for to help fill the wheel gaps, HR or Dinan.

I originally ordered my car in Alpine White but changed the order color to Glacier Silver. I'm installing the carbon fiber mirror caps, the carbon fiber rear spoiler,and the pedals. I ordered the car from the factory with the Black Kidney Grills. I'm on the fence regarding the exhaust. I'm considering Dinan, Remus or M-Performance. I'm also planning on VMR wheels and H&R springs.

What color combo are you considering?
