E92 vibrations with exhaust
My E92 has a vibration that occurs in the rear of the car that is coming from the console area in the rear. I removed the sliding cubby thing completely and that took away ALOT of the vibrations but there still is some. Its not my exhaust pipes rattling just other pieces in the car vibrating from the drone. Any do anything to help this?

I would say the sliding cubby lid would be the culprit. But you removed that. Other than that I would check the underside of the car for the brackets that are supposed to hold your exhaust in place. Turn the car on and let it idle while you look for where it could be vibrating against. Or better yet let your budy rev the car and then let off and watch the backpressure travel down the exhaust through vibrations and see if you can catch where it is rattling. If it isn't the exhaust it could also be the rear ashtray lid for the rear passengers. Best to sit in the back and let a friend drive and see if you can hear where the vibrations are coming from and try and isolate where the noise is coming from.

A couple of things I did in my car - and it is very quiet now!
- Put felt tape behind the license plate. Reducing vibration here is critical. - Tighten the shiny metal exhaust heat shields under the rear of the car. They are not exactly tight from the factory - Layering tape on the underside of the various slidings lids in the interior Should do the trick (esp the license plate)

Put some gel-like or soft foam material underneath and it should help dampen the vibration. Right now, I have a tennis ball and a brand new Nike sock in the compartment to dampen it.
