I have upgraded my amp to the JL 600/6 and the speakers to Bavsound. Thanks to Technic and his wiring harness the amp install was very easy. The hardest part was getting the trunk liners in and out.

I am very pleased with both upgrades and I can say that the Bavsounds sound really good with upgraded power. I know there has been discussion as to how these would sound with better amplification and they do sound very good. I really like the tweeters in these speakers, sounds very smooth.

The only thing I am lacking is very low bass. I have been looking at powered subs that fit in the trunk and allow you to use speaker level inputs, since I am out of channels on the JL amp. I am thinking about putting one of these in to take care of the real low bass.

Anyone have any experience or recommendations? Have you ever tapped into speaker wires and did it work okay?
