ECS is just reselling M-Factory LSDs. Search for MFactory here and you'll find threads.

I believe it keeps your same gear ratio though. The reason others are more expensive could be the option to choose other ratios and different lockup %s

I believe you also have to take into account a bolted differential 3/07 production and older versus welded differential 4/07 and newer. Welded is much more expensive to replace.

They are only selling the bolted version of the diff hence the lack of the later automatic compatible diffs that are welded.

Also this is the diff only and not the diff and housing which is usually in the $2-3k range.

If you bought this it would still have to be installed..
