Charge pipe, long vs short

Hi there,

whats the difference between long and short charge pipes?
is long for n55 and short for n54?
or there is something different

Long is for 09+ cars but I think all years can use them. If I'm wrong someone can correct me. N55 is different.

Correct, the long version fits 07+ N54 engines. The N55 pipe is completely different since it doesn't have a BOV or DVs, although about the same length.

I have the ER Long and love it. The longer versions include replacing the pipe connecting the Chargepipe to the pipe for the FMIC, it has a bend and ripples in it (sorry for poor explanation).

Agree with answers above about long vs short charge pipe.
We recommend getting the long one even for 07 - 08 n54 cars.
No need to leave that plastic elbow and risk a boost leak in the future
