Need some Sirius XM help!

So in the last 4 days, my Sirius, upon startup, is blank with just a CATAGORY? displayed. Doesn't show "acquiring", doesn't show channel numbers, no ESN, no music, etc. And at the top right hand corner it shows a radio channel frequency. Friday when it did this, eventually the NAV unit restarted itself, and it worked fine until this morning. Has anyone seen this? I had Sirius retrofitted about 5 months ago, and no issues until now. I've googled how to re-boot the computer, but all the stuff I've read doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated!

You should call them.
Also, have you tried to call Sirius to see if the problem could be checked there ?
They may send back the signal to initiate the radio.

Try both, and let us know.

well for some reason it fixed itself again. both times it happened, I started the car in the garage, where there is no reception. it's like it makes it get stuck sometimes.

I would suggest pressing the power button for the radio in until the head unit reboots. See is that resolves the issue.

So you just hold the power button in and it reboots? I definitely think its a problem with the car computer getting stuck, not with Sirius.

Yea. The computer is the head unit. Pressing and holding the power / volume knob will reboot the head unit / computer.

No, have the ignition on and after iDrive boots up push and hold the power/volume button for at least 10 seconds. It takes a while but eventually the head unit will reboot.

Thank you. I noticed it only happens when I start the car without satellite reception. And it will work a few days to a week, then randomly it gets stuck on that page. really weird. Sirius said it wasn't them
