E90 Performance Side Skirts Install Question
Hey guys.
I purchased a set of BMW OEM performance side skirts (PN: 51-19-2-149-517) and had them painted and installed on my car by a bodyshop. The side skirts themselves have an opening in them and a small grill insert that allows air into the opening as well (see photo of my car below). After having them installed, I noticed the wheel well completely blocks the back of the opening though so any air would just get trapped in there. I was hoping someone could do me a huge favor and hopefully pull up the BMW official installation instructions for this part number and see if it mentions making a modification to the wheel well or anything similar to allow airflow. Thanks so much. |
