How much for aftermarket CP install

I just got my stett charge pipe with tial bov in the mail. Called a local shop and they said around 350$ for the install... Isn't that a bit much?? I would do it myself but I live in an apartment and don't have the tools...

You can get the tools you need for <$15 at harbor freight and do it yourself in about 30 mins tops.

$350 sounds very steep now doesn't it?

That's absurd. For a non-dealer, $350 would be like 4-5 hours of labor.

It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to install. My N55 was super easy and quick.

spend the $350 and fly me from LA to Texas. I will bring a screwdriver and wrench and be done in 20 minutes.

You can definitely do this yourself. About like installing an intake. I wouldn't pay more than $70.

Where in Austin did you call? That is hilarious. I think they thought you meant Downpipe.

I wrote a DIY for n55 but n54 should be just as easy. If you cant figure out a way to get it done just PM me and I'll help you out.

You should join Austin Euro Grouppe on FB if you aren't already.

It's a half hour to an hour job of you've never done one before. $350, like others have said, would be 3-4 hours Indy labor, maybe more.

Took me 15min to install mine... Super Simple.

Direct replacement, no cutting, bending, moving, etc. Just take oem out put aftermarket in

Performance wise its completely worth it! its so cheap and way easy to maintain! It might not give you the advertised 15hp but I am sure you'll pick up at least 8-10hp. More air, bigger bang.

Grabbed a used pair for 50.00 and install both at the same time seriously dude, consider it. It's worth it.
