Question New E90 Owner - a couple questions

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased a 2007 328i (06/2007 build). Awesome car, love driving it. Apologies for the sideways photos, they show right side up on my laptop.

A few questions.

1. There is a quite a bit of headlight "shake" going over any rough surface. I checked to see if there was any play in the headlight assembly, and it does have a little bit of movement. Was there an official solution to this issue?

2. What is the best option to replace the halo bulb with an LED, I see a ton of options out there. What is your recommendation? (It has factory xenons)

Thank you!

Headlight shake appears to be a common issue with these cars. The factory xenon on my E46 stay rock solid on rough roads, but on my LCI E90 they shake like crazy.

I've learned to ignore it because as far as I know the only solution is brand new headlights and for these cars those do not come cheap.

For the halo/angel eyes get some lux angel eyes. I have them and In my opinion they are worth the money.

I checked the tabs on the top, they seem pretty tight.

Are the same tabs on the backside of headlight? Those could probably be the issue. Just need to take off the bumper, headlight, and reassemble with the new tabs?

EDIT - I see on the product description that those are only the upper tabs.

Going to take a peek later today and see if these tabs are indeed the culprit. It'll definitely be nice to finally have rock steady xenons for a change. Mine shake when I shut my doors so it's stupidly irritating.

Update: No broken tabs that I can see on either headlight. I'm pretty sure there's something broken inside the headlight assembly which is why this problem can only be fixed with new headlights.
