Is it worth getting a M-Sport Bumper?

Alright so I have a normal bumper and I can't find any good carbon fiber lips that will fit my car, so i'm thinking of getting a M Sport Bumper. Is it worth it?
How much would it cost to get one and for installation? (I'm thinking around 1k)

I have a E90 2009 328i

My bumper:

Any of these worth buying?

You have neither. You have the normal bumpers on cars without m-sport.

You have 2 options
1. Buy msport bumper (u may need extra parts, paint job, install cost)
2. If want to keep oem bumper then best bet is to buy jbspeed splitters(painted) and universal cf front lip from eBay

Something like this

damn yeah that's also what i thought my options were.

I was looking at the Hamann front lip and those were like $800+
Getting an MSport Bumper would cost around $500, but i'm not sure how much installation would be....

Also, wouldn't this fit my car?

That is for an M3 bumper. You do not have an M3. As others have said already, they do not make any nice lips for the regular bumper. You can either buy a set of front splitters or replace your bumper with an m-sport bumper. If you have the m-sport bumper you will have many options for lips.

Alright I might think about getting the M-Sport Bumper, depending on how much it'll cost and for installation.

I really want a carbon fiber lip.

Cheaper option would be M3 rep and CF lip off eBay.

If you go OEM and getting everything done at a shop, you're looking at around $1300 for parts, paint, install.

It will be cheaper if you get a rep, though fitment will be YMMV.

Mine came with a M-Tech (replica) front spoiler installed by the previous owner.

I like the look and fits the look of the front end well. Whomever painted mine has no business painting car parts...the finish looks good where it isn't coming off, but I will need to get it redone this spring.

Get an msport man. I had the regular stock bumper but got tired of it even with splitters + lip. The msport looks much more aggressive and sort of has a frowny face compared to the stock bumper's smile.

M sport bumper

each hour of labor ~ $75

I would assume $75 - $125 just to install a bumper.

$250-$350 to paint.

$400 for the bumper itself.

^ That lip won't fit your car. As iceberg87 posted, with the standard bumper which is what you have, that is pretty much the only good looking option you have. Now, if that setup isn't what your looking for, you are left with getting either a replica m3 front bumper or m-sport bumper. Now i'm not too familar with the options for the e90 m-sport front bumper but i do know that the replica m3 front bumper has so many options that you'll be bound to find something suitable to your tastes.

EDIT: Just realized that the E90 LCI does not have a M3 replica front bumper option. However it does have the 1M front bumper. So your options are between the M-Sport and 1M Front Bumper. just incase you don't know where to look here are some places that can get you started:ECStuning.com / M odb arg ain s.com / Europeanautosource.com / getbmwparts.com.... and if thats not enough http://www.e90post.com/forums/adsponsorlist.php

what do you think?

As others have posted, it won't fit your car. The front bumper is totally different. That is for M3. So unless you plan on getting a replica M3 bumper, it will NOT work.

Also, check the forum for vouched vendors. A word of the wise, buying parts from eBay or anywhere flee-market (like amazon) may NOT fit properly. It's a high risk deal. Don't let the price fool you. Spend the money to get one from a reputable vendor on here or anywhere for that matter. Just do your research and read reviews prior to purchase.

Also, be aware that you have an e90. The front bumpers/lips/splitters will be different for e92.

All of these vendors (I can provide more) call it an M Tech front lip / spoiler.

It's an Aero Lip. I had one on my car since day 1 until it was involved in a crash, now i have the M-Tech bumper.
