Key stuck!!
Key won't come of out of the key slot. pushing on it will turn the radio and dash lights on or off but it won't come out. I was able to pull it out with force...didnt break anything but it appears that piece that you slide the key into isn't coming back far enough on its track to release. Any ideas?...i tried to lightly pry around the slider with a knife but it wouldn't release.

It happened to me a few days ago, I even posted a thread asking for help, my gas tank door wouldn't open. The suggestions were to pour hot water to get the thing thawed and unstuck.
I highly recommend you pour hot water in the slot to get your fob out. |

You might need a new key slot.

you have to take the cover off thats shown in the picture and the 2 screws are exposed. On the right side there will be 2 clips that you have to press is. There is not need to remove trim or unplug the start button as some of the DYIs indicate.
