My interpretation of the newest mule pics

My girlfriend is adept with photoshop so I took this opportunity to have her teach me some of her skills (she did most of the work hah). Basing this off the newest mule shots and altering the previous rendering. I think this is more realistic in comparison to the previous iteration. Only the front/ bumper were altered. Let me know what you guys think.

Wow that looks good

Smooth out the front bumper and slant the intake back slightly

Refer to the black GT6 pix for direction

Maybe black out the trim next to the CF Roof because that's how M does it

I really like the color you choose. And the Brakes!!!

The bumper sections below the headlights are too angular. I believe there will be two small lines that will run through those sections.

I think in this particular PS, the bumper is too squared off imo. It just doesn't go with the rest of the body. Having said that, I'd love to learn this stuff. So cool to see what people can do

Bumper is too squared off and too angular... that must mean its perfect haha. These are the lines I can make out. If anyone sees more point them out.

I've never been a fan of everyone using that render. Maybe its the angle or something but none of the PS jobs seem to look right. Now if you could take the latest cold weather front/back pics from page 18 of that other thread and add some color over the camo, we'd have a winner.

I was talking more about the outside, towards the front area of the wheel arch

I agree - there's something about that angle that makes the hood area of the car look too flat, and the car doesn't seem long enough from front to back - just the angle, not the OP's work, which is a good effort.

I wish someone would take a shot of the back end, like you said, based on the newest mule (it's black) from the other thread. There's a lot of snow spraying around but I would like to see someone give it a shot.

Wow great effort the OP and GF. Please repeat with more colours, could you do with AW?

Like others say maybe round out a little the front skitter section and draw it back a bit into the body, a bit scoop like currently.

Looking superb though! 95% right maybe?

While this photoshop looks better, I believe there is quite a bit wrong with the front end.

First things first, the line that you have that runs under the kidney grills and beneath the headlights should flow into the outside bumper intakes. This line also is not across the whole front.

Beneath the horizontal portion of the red lines I drew, the body work is INDENTED, which you cannot tell from the camo photos because the camo covers it like a trampoline, if you can understand what I'm trying to say.

Check out my analysis and you'll see what I mean, the intakes and overall front bumper design are closely resembling the Vision GT concept.

The top of that yellow line you have drawn is just from the camo covering the intake. In reality, it is much, much higher up on the car. Please see my other comments posted after this one as well. There are more lines that are just hidden very well by the camo.

BMW is tricking you with the camo exactly how they want to.

Front bumper is quite wrong IMO

The black line in this image is from the camo covering the intake!!!!! I can't make it any clearer than this.

It will look VERY close to this Vision GT. Please, someone with photoshop skills has got to take my word for this.

Alex, agree with your analysis. The OP's efforts are fantastic but it needs the tweeks you've highlighted. And I couldn't see the dimples under the camo on the rear quarter panel anymore, your eyes are better than most with this stuff...am I wrong?

Many are being fooled by the camo too much. Remember the 1m mules made the bumper seem very boxy but when revealed, that wasn't the case.

Chill man, do we need this many exclamation marks I don't think anyone said the OPs render is production ready. Yes some details will be off and I'm not too fussed exactly where each crease line is, but if it helps you feel better that your right I'm sure you're right.

I hope it's like the Vision GT in many ways but the lower front intakes are probably the least exciting bit of it. The extreme width, ridiculously cool integrated rear spoiler and rear vents from mid engine Porsches are all uber cool but not production realistic. Looks like the fangs are the main take away so far

Though I appreciate your analysis, I really just can't see it. Especially with the newest images. The ones who have used were lower resolution and even more difficult to decipher. Looking at this image I can make out the lower line (red line) but nothing further. You are claiming the yellow line is there, if you can highlight it better for me, maybe I'll be a believer. I think I've missed the other red line being visible in the center of the bumper, much like the 1M.

Make the black bits in intakes from this E92 bumper and give it the downward angled bits and I think it's also close.

Overall its very aggressive front bumper that we should expect from ///M historically compared to other models.
