2 Allocations for my dealership....

Got a voicemail from my dealer today, they are getting only 2 allocations initially for the first shipment. Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, I'd consider them to be a medium to large dealership. Do you guys expect the allocations to go up after the first shipment?

My dealer has only had two so far, as well. Allocations should gradually go up. While the car has been in production for some months, the NA version has many unique things (like those lovely reflectors), so ramp up is slow.

I was 15 at Bill Jacobs, then thought about it and realized wouldn't take delivery until around 2012. Moved to a smaller dealership and I am now number 5. Hoping for October delivery.

Well, there was a lot af attrition on lists. I got on my dealer's way back in 10/05 at #9. Last December I was at #1. Combination of the economy and people wating for the sedan or DCT, I suppose.
