[CODING] Missing CAFD Files

I am unable to read some of the ECUs, namely HU_NBT and FEM_BODY.

The error says that the CAFD file was not found??? But the car is running perfectly fine.

I actually took the car back to BMW and asked them to re-flash the ECUs and return it to dead stock (which they did for me). I lost all my previous coding, and now I still can't access these ECUs.

Does ANYONE know how to fix this?

Those modules are newer than the CAFD files you have in your psdzdata. You just need the newer versions for it to work, nothing is wrong with the software or your car.

And the moral of the story is.... don't click on sh!t if you don't know what it does! That's the rule I live by with coding.

I work at a BMW Dealership and seeing all the cars having upgraded firmware and it made me blindly update my car and ruin all my coding options. My F32 is now back to stock!!! ;( In order to have the car back to its former glory I need the following CAFD's. If anyone can help with PM'ing me the NON-TRIMMED versions that would be awesome! The CAFD's are....

^ id keep your car running while coding.... Because if the battery voltage drops while flashing, you'll be in the same situation that i'm in. Corrupt module

Thanks, will do. I was just concerned because I had understood post #10 as stating that he had corrupted his software on a coding attempt BECAUSE he was missing some newer CAFDs.

No, that is both incorrect, and impossible. If ECU is missing CAFD from PSdZData version, it can't even be accessed in order to corrupt it. Worst you get is a "Missing CAFD" error.

In post 10, all he states is that Dealer Programming wiped out his custom coding.

the CAFD files in 54.1 worked for CIC, KOMBI, but while going to FEM and others, these were the missing. (some files the same as above)
