BMW Sweden posts video of i8 with 6 cylinders
BMW Sweden has posted a video on there facebook page of the i8. The interesting thing is that they say it is a 6 cylinder engine in the car. When people are asking about it, they don't remove the video and they don't deny it. In fact, when asked about the 100 year anniversary, the only reply is Lets see and a smilie
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=927447417274927 This has made some car magazines in Sweden believe there is something coming.

Clearly in error. There's a word before "turbocharged" that almost sounds like "half" said with a British accent. The i8 does have a half 6 cylinder engine.
Whatever. BMW is going to have a different design for any supercar based on the i8. And charge €300,000 for it.

Indeed. He also says this (6 cylinder) car has been on the market since June.
Questioned about it, BMW admin also confirms it´s a 3 cylinder. Then someone suggests Maybe for the 100 year anniversary? BMW admin. just replies We´ll see. (What else could he say?) |
