Sun visor - Vanity mirror light?
Is it me or is there no light when the vanity mirror is down? However the manual says there is?

There are no lights. Interesting oversight on the part of BMW. If you remove the visor, the electric terminals are on the visor mount, but no wires. Maybe they will show up on the 2015.
Regarding those yellow stickers. Here's a hint - the Euro visors don't have them. |

Wasn't an add on option when I bought mine.
My daughter was looking for it this morning!

No lights and these visors are cheap and flimsy. A complete fail for the price of this car. Makes u wonder about other parts and quality down the road.

There's a thread on here somehwere on this. Some guy tried whatever he could to get the stickers off. He succeeded in the end, but you could tell they had been there. |

I have successfully removed those stickers on P-cars and a Mini with 90% Iso Alcohol. What you do is fold some roll towel so it is just the size of the sticker. Saturate the towel, and with the visor horizontal, lay the wet towel on the sticker. Let it marinate for about three-five minutes and check to see if the edge is peeling up. If it is loose, it will come off as a full piece. It leaves the slightest impression when done, but a good vinyl protectant will make that almost disappear. Still, way better than those bright stickers.
Of course check on an inconspicuous spot first! Be really careful with anything other than the ISO. I ruined a Boxster mirror cover using something else. The alcohol seems to do the job just fine without damaging the plastic/vinyl. Franny |
