Another Spacer question...

So I'm thinking of getting some spacers for my E90xi w style 162s, but I don't want to run them up front, only in the rear. I've heard this does disastrous things to understeer.
How bad is it really for a car that is not tracked, just daily driven? I thought going staggered would be enough bring the rear a little closer to being flush, but I still have some space to fill.

Yay or Nay to REAR only spacers on an Xi!?

Ran 10mm spacers on the rear only on my '08 (non-xi) with 162 rims. It was subtle but looked good IMO. No adverse handling issues on the street or track.

Adding spacers generally wouldn't affect the car's handling. Really, I wonder who thinks of these crazy things.
