New Car Thread......
Hi all,
I've just ordered my second new BMW and without the help of the members on this forum, I'd never have been able to afford either of them due to everyones help in negotiating discounts etc and specifying certain options and why etc - so thank you! I've just put the deposit down on this; BMW 3-Series Saloon 335d xDrive M Sport 4dr Step Auto [Prof Media] Metallic - Estoril Blue Dakota leather - Coral red Hexagon aluminium trim with black high gloss finish Options: Enhanced bluetooth telephone functionality with USB audio interface + voice control Head up Display Surround camera system Electric heated, folding and auto dimming door mirrors 40/20/40 split folding rear seat Driver + passenger electric lumbar support Heated front seats Heated steering wheel Advanced parking pack M Sport Plus pack (In conjunction with visibility pack) Visibility pack Adaptive M Sports suspension Service Inclusive Pack Terms: 36 months Annual Mileage: 15,000 List: £49,380 Cost: £36,282 / £530pm (26.5% Discount) Deposit: £3,000 GFV: £19,263 APR: 5.9% Trade-In: Covered the £700 negative equity on my current car (28% Total Discount) Whilst TRL was very helpful and came in with a very good offer, I couldn't refuse the birthday special that my local dealer called me with today, so I went down there and signed on the dotted line. Dealing with him is always good fun and I've got to admit, I've yet to find a salesman that I enjoy dealing with and trust as much as him. He's allowed me to provide his details via PM's. Caveat: He can't promise to match the same level of discount but as you can see, he's willing to do a cracking deal! I'll post some pictures once it arrives in March |

Good work, and seems worth the effort to get the right deal!
And very nice spec too!

Congratulations. Waiting 'til March will be tough. The color combination is amazing. Does it come with a cape? |

Excellent pleased you pulled the trigger on it, just a case of checking out car porn until then..
Considering mileage on it, you came out really well. And another Superman, not sure anyone has had one for a while Not that long to wait either. Best you practicing taking pics |

Cheers guys! The girlfriend's more excited than I am, I still get to drive my 320d until then, which I still love.
Ironically it comes with a cape! Well, it comes with a cover which they take off on collection |

Excellent discount.
Think it shows though how expensive (and thus why dealers are so keen to push it) PCP can be. The difference between what the discounted car cost and GFV is £17019. With deposit + 36x£530 you'll pay £22080 during the PCP period. So the interest charge is a little over £5000. |

Looks like an excellent deal and on an excellent spec. Thanks for posting the deal detail which is so often missing from the excellent deals others say they get.

£50 a week for a car with that spec is excellent. Enjoy it when it arrives.

Surely you get taxed on your car user allowance? Which increases your monthly cost?

Yup. Definitely the spec of someone who has spent too long on this forum.
I originally intended to buy a 320d sport with few if any options. Came on here, ended up with a 330d x drive m sport with all the Bells and whistles! |

But isn't it more fun? I genuinely love my 320d but as always, us men always want what we haven't got

Yeah, but don't tell my girlfriend because that's the way I explained it to her - I knew you guys were too sharp to fall for that!
An extra £80 is here nor there.....right? |
