I'm not against it and I've heard of some places in San Diego doing good work.

I like it and wish BMW offered multiple caliper color choices.

I like the contrast. I would do it, especially if blue is not an option for you. I feel the "red" maybe a bit vanilla. Maybe SO or Austin freakin chick magnet Yellow?

Where in San Diego? My car is getting worked on now at Amatos I wonder if they could do it as perfect as iND in the pic above. It looks a lot better against black. I can barely see the blue with the black wheels on BSM

Just make sure if you do it that you get proper "M" decals, same color and size as the original. I have seen about 4 M4's here that have custom calipers with a different "M" and in my opinion completely ruins the job they did

I'd say yes, if the cost wasn't over $200 otherwise, I'd pass. Nice to have the color you want, but anymore more then $200 is not worth it to me. It is after all paint (ok good paint). Fine $250 my final offer.

I would take it somewhere that has done it before. I just asked my friend down in San Diego and he mentioned HG Motorsports, 2M Autowerks, TAG, and ACG Automotive. You should call each one and see how they do the logo. I've always been curious on the logo situation myself. Like is the sticker available from BMW directly? hahahaaha.

Yes I've been to those places before I am sure they can!

Do you know where we can get the "proper" M decals for the calipers?

I like it, I'm thinking of SO calipers to match the interior, I think they'll look good with the AW exterior.

Lol to the chick magnet! I'm willing to bet five cups of coffee no female will ever try to hit on a person driving a car that's ay, exception being the lovely lady who spent an hour trying to pick me up from a bar, and actually had taken the time to make a note and take it to my windscreen.

Red, or Dakar has my vote.

Why not! Go for it! Don't ask permission, be your own guy. All the people that say that most popular means better are just lost. Better is better and painting calipers seems like a cool way to make your car stand out a bit.

Go for it and hope to see the finished product at a cars and coffee near you.

It's $995 through Tag and they do an amazing job. Going to look into different pricing options before making a final decision but I definitely want to get it done and red!

Another alternative could be to trade brakes with a f3x owner with the m performance brakes? The alternative colors are red and yellow.. I know another forum member did it to their car.

I believe it was Jaguar?

I love YMB, but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger so I with with SS; which I love. I am half tempted to get the calipers painted YMB, as I think the color is gorgeous!

How about you go and get a BBK instead, and sell me those?
But real talk! It looks great, and BMW should offer them in the tricolors of the M?!
