Soon I'm going to do the above retrofit on my car

I need two connectors ranging respectively unity 'NBT (A42 * 3B) and unity' Video (A25 * 1B) and their "feet" to be crimped to the cable FBAS

For if someone has the original codes BMW or know where I can find them

wtf.. why is there such big discrepancies in features between cars destined for the US and Europe?

I think he hooked up a DMB tuner, which is available only in Asia and in Europe, not an OTA tuner.

Not easy to tell.

You need TV modul based on your country (ECE - US DTMB etc etc see REALOEM for info)

CIC or NBT with video in (see my first picture of NBT or CIC, connector 1 )

FBAS cable

2 FBAS connector (12pol)

Fiber Optic for join on the MOST ring of the car (the lenght depends of the car)

In EUROPE the standard is DVB-T



DMB is for asian and Corea.

So you installed a DVB-T tuner? Technically, you can call that over the air since it's not subscription based, or are we talking about what we, in the U.S., call an OTA tuner.

Yes
it's a standard OTA european television.

It's a classic TV tuner optional present on BMW car Since 90' (analog TV on the paste, digital tuner on the present after the European Switch-off)

Sorry in the 7 or 5 series USA version it's present ? (Fxx car)

I think the USA don't have a great TV OTA Standard like the Europe

There are a tons of HD channels that are broadcast OTA here in the US. Especially around bigger cities.

Would you mind sharing the required part numbers?
The TV module number is easy to find, but I have some problems finding the rest.

How did you connect the antenna and MOST ring to the TV module?
I could see in Rheingold that the antenna is connected to the trunk lid but I cannot find more info about the MOST ring.

For antenna is good TWO AMPIRE AMP600 with phantom 5V.
One rear and one front for the diversity tuner

FBAS 4.8Mt cable is in the realoem.com
Use a F10 car in order to find all you need

Most cable depends on car (CIC or NBT)
You find a classic cable on EBAY with BMW connectors (Search BMW MOST Cable)
This part is not present in realoem

hey Franz, would you please share in details what you connected from head unit to TV tuner, also what's the pinout of the connector of the TV tuner.

Did you need to modify VIN or anything in the module?
