My Interlagos - Finally! What Wheels Now?

So I have finally taken some pics of the new M Coupe. I plan to drop on some H&R coil overs or springs and do an exhaust.

My real dilema is what wheels? CSL reps look sweet on Interlagos Blue and are certainly cheap. But I'm being drawn to some iForged or something with a nice lip the more I see e46 M3's with fat lips. Don't see a lot of M Coupe pics but I'm sure it will look incredible. I'm also considering some gold center to really make it pop.

Anybody know how to photoshop some gold iForged Essens or Monaco by chance

Here is Craig's car with HREs:

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=847071

I was faced with the same dilemma when I bought my M Coupe as wheels are usually the first thing to get changed, I went with the competition wheels with 10mm H&R spacers up front to get the CSL look at reduced cost- BBS makes these forged wheels for BMW so it was a no brainer for me:

Congrats on the new car

To me, the CSLs look the best, no matter how common they are (like M6 reps aren't?). I am thinking of adding a twist and getting authentic CSLs from the UK...

Its lower, KW V3s. The spacers are just in the front to get the offset similar to the CSL fronts (wider) so that they clear the KWs.....

Nice. How do the KW's feel? Were they worth the money? I have always lowered my cars with springs since I don't do a lot of track days I have a hard time justifying $2k for a better look. I did however, inherit sme coil-overs when I bough a 911 and the car rode great. Course I had not baseline to compare it to...

The KWs ride as good or better than OE (and I have them set to the KW recommended settings that some complain are too stiff)- Dan drove my car this past weekend and said he thought they were better than OE. They seem to eliminate the last bit of dive and squat and seem to be better damped in transitions- for me it was worth the upgrade.

I know Craig (Moupe on BimmerForums) tried H&R springs first and after finding them too rough ended up going with their coilovers but I have not ridden in his car to offer an opinion.

Just visited your site; nice rides. Surprised your girl has a stick 335 as many of the gearheads actually take it in auto with paddles.

I was considering a 335 before the M Coupe but was concerned I would want something more rare and sporty. but whenever I see a 335 lowered on some wheels I wonder. Do you ever want her car instead?

Thanks. The manual trans is one of the main reasons we got the 335, an auto would have been a deal breaker. Ever since she had to learn to drive stick when the car she wanted did not come in auto, that has been her preference. When we got the first Touareg she missed driving stick almost immediately. I prefer the M over the 335 but I drive the 335 on the weekends since it is our family car so I get equal seat time in both. My wife would be the first to tell you she prefers the M when we head to the mountains, the 335 is a little under-damped and does not instill the same level of confidence- but it is a very good handling car and it's quick. Long term I may get some new suspension for that car too.
