Speed volume

Sorry for the noob question but can someone please explain how the Speed Volume setting works? I see there is an adjustment bar and default the Speed Volume is set to the next to lowest setting. What happens as I increase it? As I increase it does it mean the volume will compensate more (get louder) as I drive faster?

Yes. As the speed of the car increases the volume of the radio will increase. Setting it higher will allow it to increase the volume higher.
