Sirius cuts out frequently

Hi,

I have aquired a new to me 2012 335i. The satellite cuts out under any bridge or slightest tall tree. Ihave used satellite in 4 previous cars but this cutting out is excessive. I have confirmed what I believe is the connection on the back of the CIC, no issues that I could see.

Does anyone else have this issue? I couldn't find any similar threads using the search. Any help is appreciated. Maybe it is normal?

I have noticed a difference between XM and Sirius. They have now merged but those car companies that used XM like Acura have much better reception then my ford flex used to get. That being said... I've never had an issue with the reception cutting out by a tree.

My Sirius occasionally drops out under a bridge but not usually. I notice a definite improvement over my 2007 E60 and similar performance to my 2010 E60. XM in my wife's car seems more reliable overall.

Take car in for service. Possibly a bad antenna on roof or bad cable between antenna and headunit.
