Service interval
I'm at 4,500 miles (5 1/2months) with my M4. The CBS system is calling for service in 6,000 miles. On my E92 it was closer to a 15k interval, rather than 10k. I'm assuming this is because of the turbos.
I always do a midpoint oil & filter change just to be on the safe side.

First M for me.
I am also thinking of doing a 5-6K mile oil change out of pocket. Maybe do the 6MT fluid change as well? or just follow BMW recommendations? |

You can not go wrong with an intermediate oil and filter change. I have 3200 miles and am planning on doing it around 6000 miles.

Don't think the tranny needs to be changed that soon IMO.

Fluid changes
The factory recommendation for the manual transmission and differential fluid is every 5th oil change, so ~50k miles (does not apply to the DCT). That's probably okay to stick to.
