Christmas gift
The X4 finally arrived on the 24th.
What a treat! It snowed 30-40cm that day so the new Nokian Hakkapelitta 8 did wonders. Best studed tires ever due to 50% more studs. Pics from a trip to our summer/winter place.

Thanks!
Itīs Glacier silver. Sorry for the loucy mobile phone pics. The wheels are the 622 19" Tires are 255 and 285. A little bit to wide for top winter performance. (But it looks nice) 235 on 7.5" all around is probably best but will look a little bit too small imo.

Congrats! The photos look great. Car looks totally in its element. Love it!
I have the M sport in black sapphire and my bumper has a two tone color on the bumper. The two different textures and color bothered me at first but now it just seems normal. On your X4 I like how the black gives it some contrast and marches the front bumper with the black. Looks good to me. Love the silver, color and with the black accents, Gorgeous! Enjoy !! |

This is not correct. The colour stays as is with the M Pack. At least that is what I have and what they have told me. Now I have a black one, so you don't see it.....

Made a very simple photoshop comparison between all in the same color and black original.
Which is your favorite? (the photo is taken from Carscoops) http://www.carscoops.com/2014/07/whi...kelleners.html

The black field on rear bumper is to - optically - lower the rear end. It is an old designer trick. It works even on my Carbon Black.
I like the wide rear tires - but opted for 18" and 245 both for performance in snow and economy. I am awaiting spring, when I can install my optional 310:s. |
