Hey everyone. I'm looking to chip my 335i n54 again. This time to a jb4. I used to have a Cobb v2, but have heard so many positive things about jb4's and the power they yield.
I have seen the DIY's and this was the main reason I went to Cobb because of the ease of installation. I have found a seller with the latest jb4 G5 ISO. And I'm wondering if any of you know any shops that does this installation. I want to get it in right. And if there's any issues, I'd rather deal with a business than an individual. Anyways, thanks for your help. |

Thank you to everyone for your responses. Definitely hit up speed element too.
This is something I don't trust myself doing. Especially with wiring and electrical. That's why I would rather pay someone to do it properly...especially a reputable shop that has done these installations various times. |

Update:
Just picked up the latest JB4 G5 ISO with the DCI's from a local. Before installing the JB4, I will clean the intake filters. They're not too bad in shape, just pretty dirty. I'm thinking with the issues I had on my prior tune, Cobb v2, I should get some coils just in case of misfiring issues...lol |

jb4 Problems 335i N54, 2009 E93
I have attempted installation 4 times. and it is getting old. I installed the DCI, and have installed the JB4, and I get a seat belt /electrical malfunction. I have checked all connections. the box on the connectors all matchup. there are not any bent pins, I am disappointed. I returned to stock and everything works as normal.
I am tempted to pay to ship back so they can test it. I don't want a refund, I want it to work. |

when i had my jb4 installed, the car didn't start, a bunch of codes of vanos, injectors, plus a bunch of other things
ended up a wire was pulled out a little from one of the jb4 plugs don't know how the tech found it, but he always does wonders, the shop is ASP in Daly City, CA his name is Trevor. The guy knows what's going with BMWs i would have been pissed to have to remove the jb4. |
